A majority of you are turning in your assignments on time, but I have not received labs and HWs from some of you. This becomes a problem with making solutions available for the labs. So, starting with lab 3 (which is due this Friday), the last day I’ll be accepting late labs and homeworks is by 5pm three business days after they are due. So for labs, which are due on Fridays, I will not accept labs after Wednesday at 5pm (when the ME office closes). Labs that are not turned in by then will receive a zero.
For late homeworks turned in within 3 business days will be penalized 10% for every day they are late (& if applicable, the weekend days acts as 1 late day).
- Labs turned in before Dr. Provancher arrives on Monday morning will be reduced by 10%
- Labs turned in by 5PM to the ME office on Monday will be reduced by 20%
- Labs turned in by 5PM to the ME office on Tuesday will be reduced by 30%
- Labs turned in by 5PM to the ME office on Wednesday will be reduced by 40%
- Labs turned in after 5PM on the Wednesday after they were due will receive no credit.
- For HW due on Monday, the last day to turn it in is Thursday at 5PM.
- For HW due on Tuesday, the last day to turn it in is Friday at 5PM.
- For HW due on Wednesday, the last day to turn it in is Monday at 5PM.
- For HW due on Thursday, the last day to turn it in is Tuesday at 5PM.
- For HW due on Friday, the last day to turn it in is Wednesday at 5PM.
Clearly, there can be mitigating circustances or the possibility of a lost assignment, but these exceptions will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
